Keynote Speaker- Darin Anderson, MBA, CPA

Darin Anderson is Chairman and CEO of Salas O'Brien, LLC. He is also on the Board of Convoy Technologies, LLC, and a partner with Gutierrez & Anderson. Prior to Salas O'Brien, Darin was the President and CEO of Linc Electric (now ABM Electric), as well as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Kleinfelder, Inc. 

He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration and MBA from UCR. In 2002, he was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumnus award by the UCR Alumni Association in recognition of his professional achievements.

He serves as the Chairman of the Dean's Advisory Council at the UCR business school, and is on the Executive Board of the UCR Alumni Association.

Please be aware that Commencement tickets are University property and the sale of Commencement tickets is strictly prohibited.

Seating

Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on campus: alcohol, illegal drugs/paraphernalia, and weapons of any kind including firearms and knives and animals except for registered guide dogs. Balloons and air horns etc. are not allowed at the venue; please leave these items at home or in your vehicle. Security will be screening at the venue.

Smoking is not permitted inside the Commencement venue.

Guests who are sensitive to heat and sun may view the ceremony in an indoor, climate-controlled location with a live video-feed of the ceremony shown on a large screen. No tickets are required for entrance into this location.
